A Warning To The Youth

I Big Brother, urge you, the youth of Oceania to be loyal and law abiding citizens all your lives. To do your part you can do many things. One of them is reporting the people who you believe or know have committed an unlawful act. Unfortunately you see these people can’t help what they do, due to being mentally insane. If reported early these people have a chance to be cured thanks to the help of the inner party, but left untreated they can do many horrible acts such as thought crime. I am saddened to say that it’s even a possibility that some of you, the youth of Oceania who are our future may be insane. You see this insanity is very common in the young, and so I urge you to turn yourselves in as well. This insanity makes people think of delusions such as false events and even think that I and the party are bad. Sadly, there are cases where the individual has gone so mad that there is no reaching them, and become very dangerous. The only reasonable thing to do is give them a quick and painless death because life would be too agonizing. I assure you there is nothing to worry about, the inner party and I have everything under control so we can safeguard your future with us.

Privacy Is Bad

The people of the past didn't need privacy. The people of the present don’t need privacy and the people of the future definitely don’t need privacy as well. Why would they? Privacy leads to nothing good. The telescreens are for the benefit of the people. They are my glorious eyes into their lives. The people of Oceania should be happy that they have a leader who cares so much about them. Without my wonderful eyes can you imagine what would become of Oceania? It would be filled with misguided, insane, and un-loyal people. My ‘’eyes’’ catch these people and try to show them the way of their wrongs, so they can live a true life and not a shamble.At times these people are so stuck in this state that they believe what they are doing is right. Due to this, these people have to be taken care of, so that the well-being of the people in Oceania is safeguarded. I will do my part to protect the people and I encourage my loyal citizens to look out for their comrades. By this I mean that the people of Oceania shall be my  extra pair of eyes and ears. 

East Asian Animals

The East Asian people as a whole are barbaric and uncivilized. Due to this they feel contempt towards us, a race which is much superior then they are. Their incompetence shows in many forms. Only a weak and unintelligent group of people will let its country’s most ‘’top secret’’ information be known due to a traitor. They could have stopped this traitor, but due to their governments mediocre supervision, which they’re people are ungrateful for, they couldn't. This is not the case in Oceania.  The people are protected and kept in check around the clock thanks to the telescreens and microphones located all around.The behavior of these savages is rooted from poor government control. The government is too lenient on its laws that it enforces toward its people which are a joke. Laws are supposed to be rules that restrict people for the better, but that is not done in East Asia. Due to this the people are out of control. In Oceania this would never be the case. The people have freedom to do what they feel up to that is of course law bound, to what I say.

Nothing But The Truth

Unlike Eastasian leaders, I provide my fellow comrades with information that contains nothing, but the utmost truth and that is why, you the people of Oceania follow and adore me. If you look back to past writings you won’t find a single false statement that was produced out of my mouth. I have promised the people things and I have delivered. Now the people of Oceania are living twenty percent better than they lived a year ago and definitely better since the end of Capitalism.  With me in reign the people of Oceania will defeat the Eastasians and live as they deserve, but this will only happen under my power because no one has the people’s best interest at heart except me. Goldstein a man of lies and  corruption almost destroyed Oceania and enslaved the people. I urge you that now your loyalty and faith will be most needed because believe me when I say that you don’t want to be against the party. Any person found against the party will be dealt with properly so the lives of the people won’t be threatened. I promise the people of Oceania that they can rest knowing that Big Brother is watching them.

I Am....

I am the man who you see in black and white everywhere. I am Big Brother. I rule Oceania as a kind and just ruler. I provide to every person from party member to prole with necessities beyond imagine. I make sure that the people receive everything that they never received before the revolution. During that time it was a dark age where evil men called capitalists controlled the land. Now that I’m in charge I'll make sure that, that won’t ever happen. There are also other threats such as Emmanuel Goldstein a man who betrayed the party and the Eastasian people who we are at war with currently. The people of Oceania have nothing to worry about because thanks to my telescreens, nothing hides from me. Oceania is a civilized country due to INGSOC and the ministries that enforce it. The four ministries are the Ministry of Truth, Ministry of Peace, Ministry of Love, and Ministry of Plenty. Each ministry has in important job that keeps Oceania functioning. The functions consist from protecting the people to supplying wonderful leisure’s such as music and movies. The people always know that Big Brother is always watching.
